Oliba Green Beer has come away with the Àpat Innovate Award, for the most innovative product, granted by Fira ÀPAT for the first time. The Àpat awards recognise the best local food products in Catalonia in different categories (Àpat Innovate, Àpat Sustainable, Àpat Environment, Àpat Logistics, Àpat Digital and Àpat Covid-19 Prevention). The winners have been chosen by a jury made up of professionals from the local Catalan food scene, and the awards ceremony will take place on 18 October as part of Fira ÀPAT Barcelona.
This accolade joins the ones previously received for the first green beer in the world, Oliba Green Beer: the 19th Agricultural Technological Innovation Prize (PITA) from the Department of Agriculture of Generalitat de Catalunya and the ESAO Innovation Award.
From 16 to 18 October, Fira ÀPAT, considered the present and future of the Catalan food sector, will bring together the producers and manufacturers of the best quality products and ingredients from the Catalan territory. Geared toward food professionals, this gathering promotes local products as a way to support security and quality. Producers and manufacturers present their products to shops, restaurants, hotels, wine cellars, distributors and end consumers.
It will take place at the Cupula Events venue, a former bullfighting ring reconverted into a shopping and convention centre, on the famous Plaça Espanya in Barcelona. From Oliba Green Beer, we will be present with our products: The Original One and The Empeltre One. See you there!
